To Assign Conditions to a Structural Review and Assessment Activity

Two types of conditions can be applied to an AssetWise CONNECT Edition Assessed Structural Capacity activity: Abnormal Indivisible Load (AIL), HA/HB Results, and SV Results. Once a condition is applied, you can assign Assessed Live Load (ALL) Capacity values to the condition, through the activity.

Follow these steps to assign load conditions to an activity.

  1. Open the Assessed Structural Capacity activity for which you want to assign load conditions.
  2. Select the Conditions tab. This tab lists all load conditions for the activity.
  3. From the Actions menu, select Enter results.
    The New Condition page appears. For example,
  4. Enter a Condition Type in the box.
  5. Select a Class from the list.
    Note: This field is required.
  6. Enter the date that the condition was discovered.
    Note: This field is required.
  7. You can accept or edit the Condition Description.
  8. If the condition is completed, enter the Date Completed.
  9. If the Class is Abnormal Indivisible Load, enter known values for the following information: Vehicle Movement Identification, Location, Direction, Structural Adequacy Factor (SAF), ALL, AIL - With ALL, AIL - Without ALL.
  10. If the Class is HA/HB Results, enter known values for the following information: Location, Direction, ALL, SAF, ALL, HB Units - With ALL, SAF - With ALL, HB - With ALL, HB Units - Without ALL, SAF HB - Without ALL, HB - Without ALL, and Comments.
  11. If the Class is SV Results, enter known values for the following information: SV Vehicle , Location, Direction, ALL, Limit State, Vehicle Speed, Reserve Factor SV - With ALL, Failure Mode - With ALL, Critical Element - With ALL, Reserve Factor SV - Without ALL, Failure Mode - Without ALL, Critical Element - Without ALL.
  12. hen you are finished, click Save Changes.

You can now assign Assessed Live Load (ALL) Capacity values to the condition.
